Machangulo Beach Lodge sits on a quiet peninsula, atop a ridge, in southern Mozambique, offering a relaxed escape with plenty of nature. With just nine ocean-view rooms and a spa it’s small and intimate, and it’s not too far from the South African border, either.

Surrounded by several nature and marine reserves, it’s a great base for beach time, boat trips, exploring the wild coastline, and just getting away from it all.

Food 10/10 - our fav restaurant was Kushi and the breakfast buffet was out of this world!
Views 10/10 - this was one of the most "Instagramable" places I have stayed at. Absolutely stunning!
Service 9/10 - the staff was friendly and efficient throughout our entire stay.
Spa 9/10 - One of the best massages I have had!
